2024 IRIS Peace Day International Festival

Project Description

The IRIS Peace Day 5K and International Festival is an annual celebration of cultural diversity in Central Iowa, held each year on or near the United Nations International Day of Peace, with the goal of celebrating all cultures throughout the world! The event scheduled for September 22, 2024 at Mainframe Studios in Des Moines will include family-friendly art activities as well as cultural performances from around the world. IRIS is a nonprofit, non-religious organization founded in 1993 whose mission is to promote international understanding, development, and peace by connecting Iowa to communities worldwide.
